PCI, Inc. authentication, grading, and attributions

All service type and fees are based on coins valued at $1000 or less. For coins valued between $1000 & $5000, please add $15 per coin (any service.) For coins valued between $5,001 & $15,000, please add $20 per coin. for coins valued over $15,000 please call our office. Please use only one service level per submission form. Fees quoted do not include required return shipping, handling and insurance.

Five day service

U. S. coins received by PCI will be authenticated and graded within 5 business days. This service does not include foreign, tokens, medals, and colonials. Variety attribution confirmation is an additional $7 per coin. Variety Research is an additional $20 per coin.

Three day service

U. S. coins received by PCI will be authenticated and graded within 3 business days. This service does not include foreign, tokens, medals, and colonials. Variety attribution confirmation is an additional $7 per coin. Variety Research is an additional $20 per coin.

One day service

Coins received by PCI will be authenticated and graded within 1 business day. For foreign, tokens, medals, and colonials, please add $15 per coin. Variety attribution confirmation is an additional $7 per coin. Variety Research is an additional $20 per coin.

U. S. Die Varieties

Variety Verification, Variety Research, and the variety Signature Series are all designed to give our customers access to the best information available for die varieties. Only the varieties listed in our Variety Research Library will be attributed on our holders.

Variety Attribution Verification

The submitter will list the variety as featured in one of the PCI Variety Research Library. PCI will authenticate and grade the coin, then confirm the variety attribution as supplied by the customer. The cost for this service is $7 in addition to the normal service fee, which is $15 for our popular 5-day service.

Variety Research

If the variety is NOT as provided by the customer, or if the customer doesn’t know the variety attribution, the PCI Variety Research service will research the variety and list the proper attribution on the label. The cost for this service is $20 in addition to the normal service fee, which is $20 for our popular 5-day service.

Variety attribute are for any coins as listed in the Cherrypickers’ Guide, all error coins, and any variety as listed in the following references.
